How is AC electricity cost calculated?

Average kilowatts equals rated watts ÷ 1,000 × load factor. That figure is multiplied by operating hours and your electricity price per kWh.

What load factor should I use?

If you do not know, 75% is a reasonable planning input—not a universal measurement. Use 100% for a conservative maximum-power scenario. Variable-speed and cycling systems may average less.

Can this predict my exact electricity bill?

No. Weather, insulation, thermostat settings, maintenance, time-of-use rates, taxes, and utility fees can all change the final bill.

Where do I find wattage and electricity price?

Look for watts or input power on the AC rating label or manual. Your utility bill usually shows the energy price in dollars, cents, or another currency per kWh.

What is included in the downloaded CSV?
