Check the language the job uses
If “Python” appears in the job description but not your resume, check whether you have relevant hands-on experience. If you do, describe it in the context of your work and results. If you do not, leave it out.
Paste your English resume and a job description to check shared terms, missing headings, and long lines. Find your revision priorities as you prepare to apply for jobs abroad.

Scores are custom reference values created by this page. They are not actual ATS ratings or your chances of passing screening.
Check whether key terms extracted from the job description appear in your resume. This tool does not verify your experience or skills, or determine whether you meet the job requirements. Always review the results alongside the original text.
This score does not indicate a pass or fail, or your chances of passing screening. Terms from company overviews and general wording may also be extracted, so review their relevance yourself.
Only consider terms you can support with real experience. Some may simply use different wording.
A match does not assess how specific your experience is or how important the term is to the role.

Use “Add this result to comparisons” to keep results in a table while this tab is open. Resume and job description text are not saved in the table.
Scores for different job descriptions cannot rank your chances of success. Use this table to review revisions against the same job description.

Overall score = keyword match rate × 50% + section coverage × 25% + readability × 25%, rounded to the nearest whole number. This calculation has not been validated against hiring data or certified by an ATS provider.
Keyword match rate: The job description is converted to lowercase, then terms made up of letters, numbers, “+”, and “#” are extracted. Terms generally need at least 3 characters; AI, ML, UI, UX, QA, R, and C are also included. Common function words are excluded. Up to 60 terms are selected by frequency, with ties ordered by first appearance. The score is matching terms ÷ extracted terms × 100, with equal weight for every term. A term matches when the same word appears independently in the resume. The tool does not assess compound terms, synonyms, word variations, meaning, or whether a requirement is essential or preferred.
Section coverage: Detects four heading categories on standalone lines: Summary / Profile / Professional Summary; Experience / Work Experience / Professional Experience / Employment History; Education / Academic Background; and Skills / Technical Skills / Core Competencies. The score is detected categories ÷ 4 × 100. Capitalization, trailing colons, and common bullet markers are ignored. A heading does not establish the quality of its content. Some application formats do not need a summary, so all four categories are not necessarily required.
Readability: Each nonempty line containing letters or numbers is treated as one sentence or item. Lines with 30 English words or fewer are counted as readable, and their share is converted to a score out of 100. This does not assess grammar, natural phrasing, or content. Headings count as lines, and line breaks alone can change the score. Avoid unnatural line breaks just to raise it.
Text containing only Japanese, or no extractable terms, cannot be scored. The tool may not adequately support languages other than English, specialized roles, or variations in terminology.

Adding words that seem “ATS-friendly” does not necessarily communicate your experience. Use your comparison results in this order.
Extract the text from your resume and paste the job duties, required qualifications, and preferred qualifications from the job description. Your name, address, and contact details are not needed for comparison.
Reread terms not found in your resume within the original job description. Check whether they relate to work you have actually done. Describe relevant experience through your action, its focus, and the outcome. Use only numbers you can verify.
Revise your resume without changing the job description, then compare again. Finally, read the text and check the employer’s required file format and information. Keep the results worksheet to make your next revision easier to pick up.

No outcome can be predicted. This score is a custom reference value based on the published calculation method. It differs from the parsing, search, and evaluation methods of individual ATS platforms and from recruiters’ decisions. There is no defined passing score.
No. Terms from company overviews and benefits sections may also be extracted. Only consider terms that relate to the application requirements and that you can support with real experience. We do not recommend adding skills or achievements you do not have.
This page compares text and generates downloads within your browser. It has no network process that sends your resume or job description text. Measurement hooks receive no resume text, job description text, or scores. Processing by browser extensions or device management settings is outside this tool’s control.
By default, the comparison table is kept only in this tab’s memory. If you enable optional saving, the table is stored in this browser’s local storage. Use “Delete all” to remove inputs, results, the comparison table, and this tool’s saved data. Delete downloaded files separately using your device’s file manager.
No. Pasted text does not contain the original file’s layout or image information. Columns, text stored as images, fonts, and whether an ATS can parse the file are not assessed by this score.
