01 / BUILD YOUR ESTIMATE TABLE

Turn familiar tasks
into a draft estimate.

Add suggested tasks for your industry, then enter your own quantities and unit prices. Results update as you type.

Quantities must be greater than 0; unit prices must be 0 or more. Both allow up to 4 decimal places. For free items, explicitly enter a unit price of 0. Maximum 50 items.

Select column A at your specified row in Excel and paste. Then check the formula results and number formatting in column E. Table output is held until unit prices are entered.

Free. No registration. Data is processed on your device. TSV is a tab-separated file you can paste into Excel.

Pick up here for your next project.

Local storage has one save slot in this browser. Export JSON to keep separate projects. Restoring or duplicating replaces your current inputs, so export them first if needed.

JSON can preserve blank fields in unfinished estimates. Handle downloaded files according to your company's data policies.

02 / MAKE ESTIMATING REPEATABLE

Spend less time calculating.
Leave more time to review.

Even similar projects need different estimates when materials or setup requirements change. Start by keeping line items and assumptions visible.

Spot missing tasks in your table

Separate materials, setup, processing, and inspection. Start with industry-specific suggestions and add the costs your project needs. Missing quantities and invalid numbers are flagged by row.

Keep your estimate editable in Excel

Export quantity × unit price formulas rather than fixed amounts. Each line is rounded to the nearest yen and linked to the subtotal, tax, and total. You can also set the starting row.

Reuse the assumptions behind each project

Store items, unit prices, and terms together in JSON. Duplicate a project and edit what changes for the next one. Local saving also works without an external account.

Organize your estimate items →

Intended uses: prototype part estimates, assembly cost calculations, and printing and finishing cost breakdowns.

03 / FROM FIRST DRAFT TO NEXT PROJECT

3 steps to a usable estimate table.

01

Select tasks and organize your items

Choose an industry and add the tasks you need. Check customer-supplied materials, inspection scope, packaging, and delivery, then remove unnecessary rows.

02

Enter your unit prices and quantities

Choose units that match your pricing basis, such as pieces, hours, or lots. Make sure you are not multiplying an hourly rate by a piece count.

03

Move to Excel and review the terms

Paste the table into column A at your specified row. Check the formulas and estimate terms, then add the recipient, issue date, validity period, and payment terms to your company's quotation.

DECISION GUIDE / ORGANIZING ITEMS

Having trouble organizing tasks or processes?

Yes → If you use AI, start with a process list stripped of confidential information and ask for potential cost items. A person should compare them with the shop-floor process plan and choose which to include.

No → Add tasks and enter values according to your company's costing rules. This tool itself has no feature for sending data to AI.

DECISION GUIDE / PRICES AND TERMS

Still missing a basis for quantities or unit prices?

Yes → Return to supplier quotes, standard labor times, or the responsible colleague for confirmation. Save your progress as JSON and resume later rather than filling in guessed prices.

No → Check material waste, setup frequency, minimum lots, inspection fees, and freight. The responsible person decides the final price, tax treatment, and contract terms.

Free. No registration. Data is processed on your device. If inputs are incomplete, you will receive a template for entering your own unit prices.

04 / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you get started.

Does the tool suggest unit prices automatically?

No. Enter material prices, processing rates, and hourly rates verified by your company. Missing prices are flagged as blank rather than treated as zero yen. For free items only, you can explicitly enter a unit price of 0.

How do I paste the table into Excel?

Once all required inputs are complete, click “Copy table with formulas,” select column A at your chosen starting row in Excel, and paste. The default is A1. The table uses columns A–E. When importing a TSV file, select UTF-8 encoding and a tab delimiter. If cells are formatted as Text, change them to General and paste again.

How are tax and rounding calculated?

Each line's quantity × unit price is rounded to the nearest yen and added to the subtotal excluding tax. Tax is calculated on that subtotal, with fractions of a yen rounded down. Only one tax rate is supported. Mixed tax rates, discounts, withholding tax, and company-specific rounding rules are not supported. Check your company's accounting rules.

Which quantity issues can the tool detect?

It checks blank fields, quantities of 0 or less, invalid numbers, missing units, and fractional quantities for pieces, sheets, and lots. It cannot determine whether quantities are appropriate for the job or detect an hourly rate mistakenly used with a piece count. The responsible person must check that prices and units match.

Are my prices and project details sent anywhere?

This HTML does not send your inputs to a server or external AI. Local saving uses your browser's local storage. On shared devices, delete saved data and take care where you store JSON and TSV files.

Can I use saved data on another device?

Transfer an exported JSON project file to another device and load it with “Restore from JSON.” Local saves do not sync automatically. They may be lost when browser data is cleared or private browsing ends, so keep important projects as JSON files too.

Do I need to register or subscribe to updates?

No. Use a download button to get your estimate table or a template with blank unit prices immediately. We do not collect email addresses, offer account registration, or accept subscriptions to update notifications.
