The name number uses the Pythagorean chart. The personal year adds your birth month, birth day and selected year, and is read by calendar year.
About numerology
These readings explore the symbolism of numbers. They do not scientifically assess personality, compatibility or the future.

This tool adds all digits together, then reduces the total until it reaches 1–9 or 11, 22 or 33. If another method gives a different result, check the order of addition and how it handles master numbers.

Keep 11, 22 and 33. For January 8, 2000, the digits total 11, so the calculation stops there. A total of 44 reduces to 8. Results may differ from methods that reduce the year, month and day separately.
The name number is an expression number that uses all vowels and consonants. Convert each Latin letter to its value below, add the values and reduce the total using the same rules.

Capitalization, name order and spaces do not change the total. If you compare your birth name, current name or former surname, check the spelling recorded on each saved card.
Add the digits of your birth month and day to the digits of the year you want to explore. Your birth year is not used.

The selected year is read as one period from January 1 to December 31. There is no birthday-based adjustment. Personal year calculations also keep 11, 22 and 33.

Read your life path as a theme for your direction, your name number as a theme for expression, and your personal year as a prompt for reflecting on that year. Higher numbers do not mean greater ability or better luck.
This tool does not automatically convert names to Latin letters. Enter your name using A–Z. Accented letters use their base Latin letter where decomposition is supported. Spaces, hyphens and apostrophes are excluded from the calculation. Other unsupported characters trigger an input error.
Terminology varies between numerology traditions. Here, the name number is an expression number using all vowels and consonants. This tool does not calculate numbers based only on vowels, only on consonants or only on the day of birth.
Changing an input clears the previous results. Select “Show numbers and calculation steps” to recalculate before saving. Until you calculate, the save buttons say “sample” and save the HANA card shown at the top.
