How this calculator assigns cards

Add all the digits in your date of birth. If the total exceeds 22, add its digits again. Stop when the total is 22 or less and display the corresponding Major Arcana card. This calculator uses 22 for the Fool, 8 for Strength and 11 for Justice.

There are several ways to calculate birth cards. This calculator does not calculate card pairs or soul cards. If your result differs from a book's, compare the addition method and card numbering.

Add notes to your printed record

The HTML file includes your input, card meanings, calculation steps or reflection prompts, and ruled space for notes. Open the saved file in a browser and use its print menu to print on paper or save as PDF.

Note details that catch your eye in the card and what you were thinking at the time. You can compare these with records from other days when you drew the same card. This browser stores up to 12 history entries. Clearing browser data deletes them, so also download any records you want to keep.
